• Conveyancing

  I undertake conveyancing of residential property in England and Wales. I shall be taking advantage of all the forthcoming changes in practice and procedure so that I can continue to offer a fully effective, efficient but personal service to clients. Commercial conveyancing may also be undertaken.

• Wills, Inheritance Tax and Administration of Estates

  I regularly advise clients regarding wills and prepare them for signature. Advice can also be given on Inheritance Tax liability and I am happy to liaise with Accountants if required. After death I am able to administer a Deceased’s estate on behalf of Personal Representatives in a sympathetic but efficient way thereby minimising the possibility of additional stress or worry at a difficult time for the Deceased’s family.

• Lasting Powers of Attorney

  From 1st October 2007 I will able to advise, prepare and register Lasting Powers of Attorney with the Office of the Public Guardian. Formal Court of Protection Applications can also be dealt with where no Lasting Power of Attorney has been made.

• Notary Public

  As a Notary Public I am authorised to certify necessary documentation if clients are buying or selling property abroad, doing business or getting married abroad or have any other matter where certification of documentation for use abroad is required. Where additional certification is required by the UK Foreign Office and/or a foreign embassy I am pleased to deal with this if clients request.

• Generally

  I am happy to provide estimates of costs for all the above categories of work. At the present time I am de-registered for Value Added Tax and thus do not have to charge it to clients.

Court work of any kind is not undertaken.
